Scott Frost endured a tremendous amount of criticism in his first year of coaching the Nebraska Cornhuskers. The people I work within other companies are the employees that work with managers and not leaders. I have consistently heard the same frustrations by employees over the years, and it seems to be getting worse, not better. What they want is not complicated respect, critical thinking by management, the ability to be heard, follow through by management on promises made, and loyalty to all who work in the company, not just to other management.

In my conversations with entry-level and established employees, I see a trend of minimum to nonexistent training of new hires by companies. New hires are being thrown into job situations and are being evaluated by if they sink or swim.
